Gotham Season Two: What I Want To See

Now as usual here is a list of what I want to see for Gotham Season Two.

Nygma becomes the Riddler: I really want this to happen because I have said in a previous review that The Riddler is a type of villain the GCPD can try to take on and not wait for Batman. Not that I am saying The Riddler is an easy villain all I am saying is that the way he does his crimes, with clues, is something the GCPD (Gordon and Bullock) can investigate. I hope Nygma becomes The Riddler by the end of Season Two so he can be the main villain of Season Three.

Selina goes back to her old self: Hated what they did to her in the finale just because they wanted her to side with Fish so I hope she goes back to teaming up with Bruce and being a street thief.

GordonxLeslie continues: I do not want these two to break up, I don't even care if Gordon ends up with Barbara in the comics. I think IGN said once that maybe Gotham could change up some of the lore of Batman in live action to give us something we weren't expecting. This could be one of them because I really don't think Barbara is ever going to redeem herself in anyone's eyes.

Lucius Fox helps Bruce: What I mean by this is that since Bruce is still going to investigate Wayne enterprises maybe Lucius can make him some tech to help him.

The Penguin gains more power: The finale set it up so that it seems like the Penguin is now unopposed in Gotham. I want to see him gain more power, wealth, people and status, maybe he can even build his famous Iceberg Lounge.

More villains: An obvious one because as I said before the backstories for the villains is a big highlight in Gotham. Here are the villains I want to see the most:

Anarky: A simple villain who wants to subvert the government with numerous acts of destruction, this is defiantly one that can fit in Gotham.

Clayface: If Gotham wants to remain a bit grounded for now then they don't have to use transforming Clayface, they can adapt the first one who is an actor who killed various people.

Firefly: If they did adapt Firefly I hope they do a better job than the one in Arrow and give him tech.

Harley Quinn: Everyone wants to see Harley and I think she can be either an intern at the Asylum or a student at Gotham university.

The Court of Owls: An awesome villain group from the New 52 that secretly controls Gotham, now this can be something Gordon can investigate.

Hugo Strange: Already been confirmed.

The Mad Hatter: It would be cool to see a villain who uses mind control technology.

Mr Freeze: Already been confirmed.

Ratcatcher: Could be an actual rat catcher who became insane like in the comics, would make for a great one shot villain I think.

The Ventriloquist: Another villain who would make a great one shot; a crazy serial killer who listens to a puppet.

Vigilantes in Gotham: Batman doesn't have to be the first, we can have ones who started before him and here are two in particular:

Lock - Up: A former security guard who became a killing vigilante is something I want to see in Gotham.

Knightfall: Like Lock - Up this is a vigilante who kills criminals.

More backstory on Bullock: The Flashback in the Goat episode showed that he really used to be like Gordon so I want more Flashbacks on his fall from grace.

Replacements for Maroni and Falcone: Hated the way these two characters exited the show in the finale but I hope we get more mob bosses to replace them maybe even their relatives.

Talia Al Ghul: We haven't had Talia yet in live action and the reason she wasn't in Arrow is because she is one of Batman's love interests, Nyssa wasn't as iconic in the comics so they could do more with her character in Arrow. Maybe we could have a younger Talia meeting Bruce; we don't have to have the League appear but maybe they could own a large company in Gotham as a front and that's how Bruce and Talia meet? Just a thought buy hey it could make for a could storyline.

Viper/Venom returns: Would really be great to see a villain (maybe Bane) use the serums to make super soldiers.

See the GCPD being less corrupt: Maybe not be completely innocent yet but some of the officers can really start listening to Gordon now and joining his side.

Origins of the other Robins: We saw the parent of Dick Grayson, maybe we can see the parents of Jason Todd and Tim Drake.

The great screenshots of the episodes where provided by the great site Screencapped. You can look for yourself from the link below;

Arrow Season Four: What I Want To See

As the title says this list of what I want to see for Season Four of the Arrow based on what loose ends there still is at the end of Season Three and my own opinion.

Arrow becomes Green Arrow: I think a lot of people finally want Oliver to take the full name of Green Arrow for the new season because he is obviously going to return to crime fighting. Plus you could say Arrow was technically killed off when Roy faked his death so they can't go back to that name.

New Arrowcave and gear: I don't want them to keep using Palmer Technologies as a lair, I want them back underground because its cooler that way. Also I want Oliver to have way more tech to work with just like Team Flash does.

More Meta Humans: Having Deathbolt in a episode of Arrow was so freaking cool and I want Oliver to be able to take on one this time. I also want this because Arrow has to realize that with the introduction of the Flash, Meta Humans and magical elements like the Lazarus Pit it can't keep remaining too grounded.

A better Thea: She did impress me in the finale of Season Three now let's see her keep it up and be the Speedy we deserve and have a more original costume.

Return of old villains:  I want Arrow to keep using it's villains because they have some great ones like Deathstroke, Captain Boomerang, Komodo, Clock King, Count Vertigo, Brick and Murmur. I know Deathstroke is going to return because it's Manu Bennett but I don't want the rest to be never seen from again now that Season Three is over like they did with Bronze Tiger. A great Season Two villain but is killed off in the comics and since he is absent this whole season I guess it is considered canon which is a damn shame (should have been China White killed off in the comics).

HIVE and Damien Darke: I know these have already been confirmed as the main villains but I want them to have a presence throughout Season Four just like Slade was in Season Two. The League waited until the latter half of Season Three to be the main threat which meant that half felt bogged down with them; they should have spread themselves out.

More Black Canary: Laurel has become such a great character now that I want to see her kick some more ass and have a nemesis she can fight over several episodes. Like with Thea if Oliver doesn't appear straight away in Season Four then that can be time to focus on her more; the three episode Brick arc in Season Three has already proved that if Oliver is absent for a while the secondary characters are still really entertaining.

More Diggle: I want Diggle to take more of a leadership role since Oliver might be away for a while and just give him a costume already!

No more interference from Quentin: I hope he actually sides with Team Arrow again so I can like his character again but if not I would prefer if he just backs off. Plus I just want the whole Lance family addiction habits to just be finally over because I am sick of it!

More heroes: With ATOM moving on to a new show they need to introduce some more heroes because it is always great to introduce one or two more each season. Some I would like to see and would fit in well in live action are; Doctor Mid - Nite, Lady Shiva, Onyx and Nightwing.

More villains: Like with above I want more comic villains to appear, here is a list of some I would like and would fit well in live action in my opinion; Anarky, Barricade, Blood Rose, Calendar Man, Cheshire, Constantine Drakon, Discord, Grifter, Jin Fang, Onomatopoeia and Savant.

These are just a few things I want to see, there are probably lots more I can think of but this is just a quick list.

Arrow Season Three: Best and Worst

Just as the title says I am going to make a list of what I think was great this season and what wasn't so great so enjoy! SPOILERS!!

Best

Ray Palmer: Straight away I got to mention Ray because he was always a constant bright spot in every episode he was in. Brandon Roth was just such a great choice for him and his ATOM suit is just freaking amazing when it is on screen. I think he was a better match for Felicity than Oliver, I liked his journey to becoming a hero and he defiantly deserves to be the main lead in Legends of Tomorrow.

Laurel as Black Canary: Hated her throughout Season Two but damn did they sure make up for it this season. I think her costume for Black Canary was way better than Sara's, she has the awesome Canary Cry thanks to Cisco and like Ray I like her development in becoming a hero. They didn't rush it and made her a badass straight away they gave her training with Wildcat and Nyssa and showed that she was just a beginner at the start.

The Secret Origins of Felicity Smoak: Felicity just has been the worst for the later half of this season but her origin episode was great and one we needed.

Wildcat: So underused this whole season but what we did see of him was great and he was an awesome first trainer for Laurel.

The Crossover: Just like on The Flash the crossover on Arrow was just so perfect! They have just got to do a crossover at least once or twice every season because I just love Team Arrow and Team Flash working together.

Captain Boomerang: So far one of the best comic characters adapted to live action and I am glad it was my favourite Suicide Squad member. Had some epic fight scenes with Arrow and Flash, his boomerang weapons where done so well and great casting. I really, really, really, hope we see more of him in Season Four!!!

Arsenal: Despite taking a bit of a back seat this season I enjoyed seeing Roy in his full costume and he had some awesome action sequences during the Brick Arc and his departure was done really well.

The Brick Arc: Vinnie Jones as Brick is now one of the most memorable Arrow villains because of his dominating presence as Brick and he gave us an epic three episode arc that gave the secondary characters time to shine.

Ra's Al Ghul: Another great casting and despite being mainly a Batman villain they have worked Ra's and the League into the Arrow universe where he really fits in. We also got to finally see the Lazarus Pit in live action which opens the doors to the possibility of more magic/supernatural in Arrow.

Return of Deathstroke: DEATHSTROKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maseo and Tatsu: I didn't like the Flashbacks but these two characters where way better in the present timeline such as Maseo in the League, Tatsu as Katana and their final duel.

Episodes 1 -13: Though there are some gems in the latter half of Season Three like "The Return" and "Broken Arrow" I think the first thirteen episodes where the best. I think this because the League became more heavily involved and some of their plotlines where slow and Quentin going crazy against Arrow was just something I didn't like because he went back to being a jerk.

All the villains: I know I already mentioned some above but all the other villains have just been so great this season. Komodo, Count Vertigo, Murmur and Deathbolt (think that's the rest of them) where all awesome and I hope they return in Season Four.

Tommy: It's always great when they find a way to bring back Tommy even if it is just for a bit in Flashbacks.

Worst

Corto Maltese: Didn't like this episode because it was all just spent trying to convince Thea to come home and it was a bit boring for the most part, even Diggle's ARGUS mission wasn't that interesting.

Malcolm drugged Thea to kill Sara: After spending an entire episode with Oliver defending Malcolm's innocence for Sara's murder they had to reveal that it was him all along. I think it would have been better if it was an original character or Damien Darke and HIVE.

The Flashbacks: They did give us some great action scenes but they just weren't as exciting as the previous Season's.

Quentin now against Arrow: Hated that Quentin had to turn against Arrow because he was such a good ally throughout Season Two and the first half of this season; some say he may have been too much like Jim Gordon but I don't care I liked it. What really bothers me is that he is against Arrow because his anger is driving him over Sara's death; it was good for one episode but more than that was just too much and he went back to being a complete jerk to everyone like in Season One.

Felicity: She was great in the first half of Season Three but her being with Oliver was just not the right way to go with her if the writers wanted to do more with her character. After Oliver was "killed" by Ra's I don't think there was an episode afterwards when she didn't cry and she was just such a downer when I used to look forward to her scenes.

ALPHA/OMEGA in the present: I'm glad it doesn't have much of a presence throughout the whole season like Mirakuru but it still felt like they did the same thing by bringing it into the present. I know this is a way to connect the Flashbacks and present scenarios but in my opinion the big danger for the finale could have been original.

Thea: A character who the writers have messed up ever since she was introduced and they still have barely improved her. She has been such a whiny and annoying brat that I just hate it when the focus is on her and it bothers me that she constantly has to hate someone all season; Season One it was Oliver/Moira, Season Two it was Moira and now Season Three it was Malcolm. I know Malcolm drugged her to kill Sara but I didn't like that she could just turn on him so easily and keep insulting him when I'm sure Malcolm can just kill her with ease. The most annoying thing however was that they built up her character so much with training but the second she is brought back into the story she just opens her club again like in the previous season. I hate that so much time is invested into her character when it could have gone to others because the only time she really shined was the finale and I think the wait was too long.

The Suicide Squad mission: I liked that we got to see Cupid and Deadshot again but their mission was so plain that I didn't see the point of the squad being called in; they are called the Suicide Squad because they are sent in on mission the normal military can't do and with a low rate of survival. For example I'm rereading my New 52 comics and the first squad mission is to take out a stadium full of zombies! At the very least let them fight Meta Humans in live action.

There you have it just a few standout moments from this season I wanted to mentioned though I am sure I have missed some. I might soon write a list of what I want to see in Season Four based on my opinion and what has already been established in the show.

What I want to see in the future of Arrow and The Flash (SPOILERS)

Thought I'd make a list of some things I really want to see in the Arrow and The Flash universe (season three and beyond) such as new characters, returning ones, or plot points. Now all the stuff I am going to mention could be considered SPOILERS because I will be talking about the shows and comics and they might come true lol.

ARROW

A new Huntress: Those who have read my reviews know that I just hate Arrow's version of the Huntress and the pathetic actress who played her who can't act; I am currently re watching season two and just watched Birds of Prey again and I couldn't stand her, I wanted someone to put an arrow through her brain. They have completely ruined her character by turning her more into a villain and she has a stupid story where she wants to kill her father which is reused every time she appears. They should just abandon this Huntress (let her rot in jail) and let Oliver have a new female protégé who becomes the new Huntress and is a proper vigilante.

Roy loses his arm: Those who have read the comics know that Arsenal has a robotic arm and I want to see that in live action. It is not even that far fetched anymore since Ray is making a his ATOM suit so why can't Roy have a robotic arm?

Tommy comes back via Lazarus Pit: Tommy was such an awesome character and still one of my favourites and I think it would be such a great storyline for Tommy to come back as the new Dark Archer. I think it has been proved that the Lazarus Pits exist in this universe and I want Ra's to revive Tommy with it and train him to be a top assassin.

More DC villains: Since there are lots I don't want to go over all of them but one I recently thought that could fit in well in the TV series is Hush. Now I know he is a Batman villain and I know he is a past connection with Batman but I think if they altered his past a bit it could work.

Nightwing: It has already been confirmed that Batman will never appear in the Arrow/Flash TV universe however I think Nightwing can definitely be in it. He just really deserves to be portrayed in live action and Bludhaven is already been shown which is the city he protects. Like with Hush above all they would have to do is alter is past just a bit and it could work.

More Suicide Squad: This group of villains need at least one or two episodes a season dedicated to them because they are just awesome but more than that they really need new members. I already said in one of my reviews Diggle could be the Unknown Solider but other villains (with no powers) that could work in the group are Savant and Black Spider to just name two.

For Thea to become relevant or be killed off: Thea has gotten better with the training she has received from Malcolm but besides from killing Sara while drugged I just don't see where they are going with her character.

More Komodo: He was such a damn good villain and archer that I am so disappointed he has yet to appear or even be mentioned again.

THE FLASH

Time Travel: It is basically proven that Reverse Flash in from the future so I want Barry to go into the future or past himself.

Gorilla Grodd: A great Flash villain who has already been teased in appearing and I just think it would be awesome seeing an intelligent ape with psychic powers in live action.

Booster Gold: If time travel does exist then Booster Gold could definitely find a place in future episodes because he is a great character from the comics.

More Rouges: Just like with the Suicide Squad in Arrow I want there to be even more members in The Flash's Rouges group.

Caitlin becomes Killer Frost and Cisco becomes Vibe: It would be great for these two to gain powers and if Fire Storm is sticking close to his comic counterpart than Caitlin will have to become Killer Frost sooner or later.

More Reverse Flash: The last Flash episode before the mid season break was just so epic because of Reverse Flash and I want to see more of him.

Barry discovers the Speed Force: In the comics the Speed Force is what gives Barry his speed and it plays a central role in major events, so I hope it gets introduced in the TV series.

There you have it just a few major events I want to see in the Arrow and The Flash TV series though there are probably a lot more they can do. Also I know Arrow and The Flash are airing again in America and that is so unfair! I can't believe we in the UK have to wait three weeks for the new episodes because I heard they are coming back February 10th over here. I can't wait that long!!
